Sanya Airport Opens new Seoul ⇌Sanya ⇌Singapore cargo route

On July 2, a Seoul ⇌Sanya ⇌Singapore cargo route opened, marking the first ‘5th Freedom of the Air’ cargo route operated through Sanya’s Phoenix International Airport, one of the three major airports of Hainan Province.

The ‘5th Freedom of the Air’ entails the freedom to carry passengers and cargo from one foreign country to another while en route to or from a home country. And this new route is an important addition to the Sanya Airport’s global aviation logistics network, which meets international high-efficiency logistics needs and promotes international economic and trade cooperation with the Hainan Free Trade Port.

This route is operated on a Boeing 737-800, which can carry a maximum payload of 20 tons and 110 cubic meters of cargo.
