Hainan welcomes the largest tour group in recent years

  From July 13 to 15, over 1,000 travelers from the Hong Kong SAR and eight other countries and regions including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, and Thailand spent a pleasant weekend in Sanya, Hainan. They came on an incentivized tour organized by the Italian insurance company Generali Group. This was the largest tour group to travel to Hainan in recent years.

  "Hainan is a paradise!" said Zhang Yuemei, from Hong Kong. Although this is her first visit to Hainan, she has already fallen for the city: "My husband and I arrived in Sanya a week ago and we both really like this place! The weather and environment are wonderful, the air is fresh, and the locals are so friendly that I don't want to leave."


  When asked why Hainan was chosen as their travel destination, Steve Fuller, a senior executive of the Generali Group, said that Hainan boasts beautiful natural scenery and excellent hotel facilities. Additionally, the visa-free entry policy for citizens of 59 countries and other conveniences make it a breeze for tourists to travel to Hainan.

  A representative of the Hainan Regional Headquarters of China Tourism Group, which provided reception services for the group, said "We have provided customized services for this group, including entry, accommodation, and duty-free shopping services."


  Xu Wang Meilun, Director and General Manager of the Hong Kong Donghe Tourism Company, remarked that Hainan boasts superior natural resources and infrastructure, along with a convenient visa-free policy, making it an ideal destination for receiving inbound tour groups. Xu said that in the future, they will continue to put together similar events globally to bring more visitors to Hainan.
