Sanya showcases food, culture at Haikou expos

  The 2023 Hainan International Tourism Island Carnival, the 2023 Hainan World Leisure Tourism Expo, and the Hainan International Tourism Food Expo kicked off in Haikou on Dec 1.

  From Dec 1 to 3, the Sanya tourism board will join hands with Sanya's tourism and specialty catering enterprises to organize distinctive exhibitions in all of the expos.

  The Sanya Pavilion at this year's Hainan World Leisure Tourism Expo brings together various tourism-related sectors, such as duty-free shopping, yachts, hotels, travel agencies, and ethnic clothing. The pavilion's overall design features a blue and white color plan that reflects Sanya's beaches and water resources.

  The pavilion at this year's Hainan International Tourism Food Expo invites local food enterprises, renowned hotels, and business representatives to gather to showcase Sanya's unique tropical produce, national geographical indication agricultural products, and characteristic food. Additionally, the event will include on-site performances, food tastings, and interactive games.

  Through these diverse and integrated exhibitions, Sanya plans to expand its influence in the tourism and food sectors.
