"6th Hainan Island International Film Festival Kicks Off in Sanya with Free Outdoor Screenings"

The 6th Hainan International Film Festival is scheduled to be held in Sanya, Hainan Province from December 4 to 10, 2024. This year's film Festival specially launched the "open air screening" section, and created a new brand IP - "Have Fun". The event will take place in a variety of unique venues including beaches, beaches, pools, hilltops, lawns and urban forests, providing audiences with a unique viewing experience.

The big screen doesn't have to be in a movie theater, it can be on a mountaintop, on the coast, on a beach, on a lawn, and in an urban forest.

As night falls, the setting sun is the signal for admission, the screen lights up, please take your seat, and the movie is about to begin.

Participation Methods

The “Hi-Play - Open-Air Screening” activity will be carried out in a number of locations, including Tianya Town in Sanya Maling Community, Luhuitou Scenic Area in Sanya, Sanya Summer Station Sunken Plaza, Century Cape Commercial Street in Haikou, Wanning Huarun Shimeiwan National Tourist Resort, and Lingshui Lizu Autonomous County Cultural Plaza, and the above screenings do not need to be booked, so you can arrive at the scene in advance to participate in the screening, and the seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Anaya Sanya community screening locations need to download the Anaya App, open the home page and click on the upper left corner to select “Anaya Sanya”, and then click on the home page “activities” to select the venue to make a reservation.

Sanya Kangnian Hotel screening spots need to be booked in advance by phone, 50 people per day, reservation phone: 0898-88685888 ext. 8368 (daily 09:00-18:00).
