A Treasure Hunt on Coconut Chau Island! →

Today we are going to follow our friend Kate on her trip around Sanya and check out one of the most undeveloped but charming islands - Cococut Chau Island (Chinese: 椰子洲岛 yezizhoudao)! If you crave a unique getaway, this is definitely the place for you!
Route: Coconut forest → Take pictures and cross the river→ Swing on a swing → SUP boarding → Have a rest on an uninhabited white beach
Stop 1:
As the name of the island implies, there are thousands of old coconut trees growing straight into the sky. As Kate described, “the century-old coconut forest gives the island a primitive feel.” Imagine, what an amazing experience it would be to have this beauty just for yourself, at least for a few wonderful moments.
Stop 2:
Crossing the river over the single-plank bridge seems like great fun and a bit of a challenge to us! With a blue sky and evergreen trees, this place also makes a perfect spot for taking pictures.
Stop 3:
After struggling to keep balance on the plank, have a rest in the shadow of a bamboo tent, then take an opportunity to swing on a swing surrounded by tall coconut trees. Awaken the happiest memories of childhood and add some new ones!

To cross the river, you need to learn how to use a SUP board. Follow the instructions, try to hold on, and row as hard as you can toward your white treasure!

And finally, here we are! A white beach with soft sand, a sea breeze in your hair... feels like heaven on earth!
