Registration Method
The competition has a total capacity of 14,000 participants. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will close once the limit is reached within the registration period. After registration closes, the organizing committee reserves the right to review the registration information. Participants whose applications are not approved will be notified and will be refunded and withdrawn from the competition.

Marathon (42.195 km): 5000 participants (including marathon team events)
Half Marathon (21.0975 km): 9000 participants (including couples running together)

Age Requirements
Marathon: 20 years and older (born before December 31, 2005, inclusive)
Half Marathon: 16 years and older (born before December 31, 2009, inclusive)
*For participants under 18 years of age, their guardian or legal representative must be aware of and agree to these race rules, and sign the "Participation Statement" on their behalf when collecting race materials before the race.
*For participants 65 years and older (born before December 31, 1960, inclusive), their immediate family member must be aware of and agree to these race rules, and sign the "Participation Statement" on their behalf when collecting race materials before the race.

Follow the official WeChat account of the 2025 Hainan Sanya Marathon and click "Register Now"—Read the competition rules—Select your race—Carefully read, understand, and agree to the "Participant Statement" and disclaimer, then sign and submit your electronic signature—Fill in the registration information—Confirm that the registration information is complete, true, and accurate, then submit and pay the registration fee—Payment successful—Check your race number according to the race notification requirements—Sign the "Participant Statement"—Download and print the "Registration Confirmation Letter" (If you are using electronic race kit collection, do not print the "Registration Confirmation Letter").

The 2025 Hainan (Sanya) Marathon not only continues to improve its competitive level and international influence based on its Class A event standards, but also leverages the advantages of the Hainan Free Trade Port, utilizing its international air route network covering 25 overseas destinations in Asia and Europe and the visa-free entry policy for citizens of 85 countries to provide convenient entry channels for international participants, thus enhancing the event's international character.
Furthermore, the event will deeply integrate with Alibaba's ecosystem resources, including Alipay, Fliggy, and Gaode Maps, to achieve end-to-end digitalization from online race and registration to airfare, hotel, and tourism services, creating a "smart marathon." It will also actively develop digital products for the event to extend its influence.

The course design remains one of the core highlights of this year's event. With the full opening of the Sanya "Super Greenway" demonstration section, the marathon course has been further optimized based on the successful experience of the previous six editions. The route, which integrates urban landscape and natural scenery, will create a "marathon greenway" in Sanya and a new urban landmark, allowing the event to be fully integrated into the city's development and achieving a perfect combination of poetic running and free travel.
