Recently, the 2026 Forbes Global Travel Guide honors were announced, with Sanya securing eight resorts and four spas on the list. The city ranked first among comparable destinations in Greater China and leads the world as a premier tropical coastal resort destination.
Established in 1958, Forbes Travel Guide is the world’s only independent rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, and spas, and America’s first five-star rating system.
