Yesterday, I and colleagues from Prague Airport’s Aviation Business Department hosted a delegation from Hainan Province and Sanya City. We engaged in in-depth discussions on promoting Hainan tourism and operating direct flight routes. Currently, Skytree Air operates one weekly direct flight between Prague and Sanya, which will increase to twice weekly starting in April. Hainan, China’s southern tropical island, boasts the renowned resort city of Sanya. Its unparalleled tropical landscapes, year-round pleasant climate, and stunning beaches hold immense appeal for Czech travelers. I am delighted to collaborate with all parties to continuously enhance this air bridge between Asia and Europe, enabling Czech travelers to reach Hainan more conveniently and explore this captivating Asian vacation destination.”

A: My first impression is that Sanya perfectly blends stunning natural scenery with modern tourism infrastructure. While many coastal cities boast beautiful beaches, few offer such convenient access to protected tropical rainforest landscapes like Sanya does. This unique combination makes Sanya exceptionally special.
Q: You’ve explored forests around the world. Breathing in Sanya’s tropical rainforest, what was the first word that came to mind?
A: The first word that came to mind was “life.” Tropical rainforests are among the most vibrant ecosystems on Earth. When you breathe the air here, you instantly feel everything around you pulsing with vitality—the plants, insects, birds, the humidity, even the forest’s very essence. It’s a powerful reminder of how richly diverse nature is on our planet.
