Sanya Suyue 107 Art Lodge
A Poetic Sanctuary: Rustic Charm and Tropical Wilderness
Nestled within ancient rainforests embraced by rolling hills and swaying banana trees, Sanya Suyue 107 Art Lodge reinterprets the traditional Li ethnic boat-shaped thatched cottage as a romantic symbol of tropical wilderness and island charm. With roofs of thatch and structures of bamboo and wood, each cottage appears to organically emerge from the earth, sketching a rustic and carefree tropical aesthetic amidst dappled tree shadows and mountain breezes—awakening urban travelers’ poetic longing for nature and primal living.
Li-Style Courtyards and Immersive Island Living
Inspired by the layout of traditional Li villages, the thatched cottages are scattered among lush greenery, connected by volcanic stone pathways and adorned with tropical blooms. Inside, rooms feature handwoven Li brocades, solid wood furniture, and rattan décor, with select suites offering open-air bathtubs or stargazing skylights. Common areas include a Li-style firepit tea space, a natural spring swimming pool, and leisure platforms beneath banana groves. Regular activities such as Li song and dance experiences and wild harvesting excursions are held. More than just a place to stay, it is a living theater where guests immerse themselves in the original rhythm of island life, savoring slow moments “under thatched eaves, between mountain and sea.”
