Qingtang Village

A Symbiotic Relationship Between Art and Nature
Upon entering Qingtang Village, the first thing that catches the eye is the iconic rainbow archway and the winding, clean asphalt paths. Strolling through the village, the fragrance of areca palm blossoms and the earthy aroma fill the air. The once-dilapidated walls are now covered in vibrant cartoon graffiti. Scenes of folk customs such as “plowing the fields,” “children’s games,” and “fruit picking” leap off the walls, perfectly blending creative art with the rustic charm of the Li ethnic village—every step is a scenic view.
An Outdoor Classroom for Learning Through Play
Qingtang Village is not just a tourist destination, but also a giant outdoor classroom. It features seven themed areas covering folk culture, ecological science, and outdoor activities, allowing children to learn and grow through play.
– Rice Paddy Experience: Let children become “little farmers,” rolling up their trousers and wading into the rice paddies. Through labor, they experience the hard work and dedication of farming, bringing them closer to nature.
– Jungle Adventure: The village features a professional outdoor adventure area with 12 challenging facilities including jungle trekking, multi-story treehouses, and aerial rope bridges, making it an excellent place for children to unleash their energy and build courage.
– Hands-on Time: Play with clay in the children’s pottery workshop, experience handicrafts in the DIY classroom, or head to the equestrian club to become a little knight and gallop through the countryside.
Authentic Flavors: Wanpo Duck and Tropical Fruit Aromas
The signature Wanpo duck is a local delicacy not to be missed. Thanks to its natural ecological feeding, the Wanpo duck has thin skin, thick meat, and firm texture. We recommend trying the classic “white-cut” preparation, which preserves the most authentic sweetness of the ingredient. In addition, almost every household in Qingtang Village has fruit trees planted around their houses. Mangoes, wax apples, jackfruits, wampee… you can pick them yourself and taste their fresh sweetness.
