Sanya Tram

Sanya’s tram system is sleek, modern, and often described as “transport woven into the scenery.”
As China’s first tram line built under a PPP (Public–Private Partnership) model, its design incorporates tropical island elements, featuring streamlined carriages and large panoramic windows—turning each ride into a moving observation deck.

The tram is zero-emission and low-noise, offering a green and comfortable way to explore the city, with 15 stations along an 8.37-kilometer route that runs from Jianguo Road in the bustling urban area to Sanya Railway Station, connecting the city’s key districts along the way.
