Sanya’s network of partners has grown again! Five new overseas promotion liaison offices have been established in Central Asia.

Riding the momentum of the Belt and Road Initiative, seizing the opportunity presented by the 2026 “China-Kazakhstan Year of Cultural Exchange,” and coinciding with the 6th Asian Beach Games, the Sanya delegation traveled to Central Asia from April 21 to 26 to conduct tourism marketing and promotion activities. Leveraging the ever-increasing number of air routes, the delegation established five overseas promotional liaison offices in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in one go, marking a substantial step forward in the development of Sanya’s Central Asian marketing network!
🌍 Dense Flight Network, Ready to Go

As exchanges between China and Central Asian countries grow increasingly close, Sanya has become the top choice for tropical beach vacations among Central Asian tourists. Currently, Sanya’s flight network to Central Asia covers the capitals and major cities of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan—with direct routes now fully operational to Astana, Almaty, and Tashkent. Notably, on April 6, Uzbekistan’s national carrier officially launched the “Sanya–Tashkent” direct flight, making travel even more convenient!
📈 A Booming Market: The Numbers Speak for Themselves

In the first quarter of this year, Sanya welcomed 24,300 visitors from Kazakhstan, a 14% year-over-year increase; it also welcomed 11,600 visitors from Uzbekistan, a staggering 163% year-over-year surge! The growth momentum is strong!
🎤 Making a Splash at KITF: Sanya Wins Over Fans

One of the highlights of this trip was participating in the Almaty International Tourism Fair (KITF 2026)—Central Asia’s largest tourism exhibition—held in Almaty. The Hainan delegation set up a booth to showcase Sanya’s “ace resources”: tropical coastal scenery, high-end resort products, medical and wellness services, and the 6th Asian Beach Games. As soon as these highlights were unveiled, they captured the attention of countless industry professionals.
🎉 Five Liaison Offices Established, Expanding the Network

In Almaty, the Sanya Tourism Development Bureau held an inauguration ceremony with key local partners. Three organizations—KOMPAS Travel Agency (Kazakhstan), Air Astana, and Skysky Airlines—were officially designated as Sanya Tourism Overseas Promotion Liaison Offices.

In Tashkent, nearly 20 Hainan-based tourism enterprises hosted the Hainan (Tashkent) Tourism Promotion Workshop, which was packed with attendees! Two organizations—KOMPAS Travel Agency of Uzbekistan and East Wing Airlines—were simultaneously inaugurated. Sanya’s marketing network in Central Asia has officially taken shape, paving the way for more precise and efficient future promotions!

✈️ Aviation + Tourism: Deep Integration

Sanya has maintained a long-term partnership with KOMPAS Travel Agency, which operates 14 retail outlets across CIS countries, serves over 10 million tourists annually, and continues to send visitors to Sanya. On the aviation front, Uzbekistan Airways, Air Astana, Skyskate, and East Wing Airlines have all launched direct flights to Sanya with stable schedules. In particular, the partnership with Skyskate continues to deepen; starting in August 2024, Sanya will share original travel articles with approximately 150,000 passengers each month, bringing Sanya’s stories to the skies.
