This year, the event introduces the 2026 Tour of Hainan Public Cycling Challenge (Leisure Ride). No need to race against the clock or tackle extreme distances—if you love cycling, you’re in. For just RMB 17 per stage, you can enjoy a fully supported ride with escort vehicles, medical teams, and sweep support, immersing yourself in Hainan’s breathtaking landscapes.

Stage 1 (Apr 15): Haikou → Yangpu, Danzhou
🚴 Ride (13 km): From Haikou CDF Duty Free City to Chengmai.
🏁 Watch: A dynamic start from Haikou landmarks, finishing in Yangpu’s coastal-industrial landscape.

Stage 2 (Apr 16): Yangpu → Wuzhishan
🚴 Ride (47 km): Scenic coastal ride along Danzhou.
🏁 Watch: A challenging mountain stage climbing toward Hainan’s highest peak.

Stage 3 (Apr 17): Wuzhishan → Lingshui
🚴 Ride (17 km): Rainforest leisure loop.
🏁 Watch: Riders sprint from rainforest to ocean, finishing near Clearwater Bay.

Stage 4 (Apr 18): Lingshui → Baoting
🚴 Ride (28 km): Coconut-lined relaxing route.
🏁 Watch: Through tropical rainforest and ethnic Li & Miao culture.

Stage 5 (Apr 19): Baoting → Yazhou, Sanya
🚴 Ride (14 km): Urban cycling experience.
