Bathed in soft sunlight, the atmosphere is serene and intimate. As a one-diamond restaurant in the 2025 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide—and the only Chinese restaurant to make the list in Hainan’s inaugural year—it masterfully combines premium local ingredients with exquisite Chinese dim sum.

Star Recommendation: Crispy Baked Veal with Lime—Selected boneless short ribs are slowly steamed to infuse flavor before being deep-fried at high heat, resulting in a crispy, golden-brown crust and juicy, tender meat inside. The finishing touch is the addition of Qiongzhong limes and Australian finger limes, whose delicate citrus notes subtly enhance the savory richness of the beef, creating a dish that is layered, refreshing, and never heavy.

Station 02 | The Edition Sanya · Fresh Sea Restaurant

At The Edisson, the restaurant itself is a work of architectural art. The Fresh Seafood Restaurant not only delivers on flavor but also boasts stunning visuals—every snapshot turns into a masterpiece. Here, Cantonese-style stewed soups emphasize “generous ingredients” and “slow cooking,” bringing out the natural flavors of the seafood to the fullest.

Top Pick: Stewed Fish Maw with Young Coconut, Chicken Mushrooms, and Fresh Conch The broth is crystal-clear, appearing light and delicate, yet upon tasting, it releases the subtle sweetness of young coconut and the ultimate umami of the seafood. The sweetness of the abalone intertwines with the crisp texture of the conch slices, making every bite feel like a gift from the deep sea, with a lingering aftertaste.
