In 2025, the 7th Hainan Island International Film Festival will take place in Sanya. A newly released video, inspired by the idea of “the city as cinema,” invites everyone to move from simply watching to truly entering the city—and becoming the protagonist of their own story.

Project Highlights
This cinematic project treats Sanya as a natural open-air studio, using the language of film to observe everyday life. Rather than pursuing idealized perfection, it captures a living, breathing cinematic quality shaped by light, rhythm, and real moments.

Content Overview
The camera travels through coastlines, streets, and night scenes, recording the city’s visual structure and daily energy. Urban lights, nighttime rhythms, people, and spontaneous moments come together to form a film that is constantly unfolding.

Extended Experience
The video is only the beginning. A citywide film-themed experience is about to begin, transforming audiences into participants and allowing everyone to create their own cinematic chapter within the city.
